Carlos Godinho

Biologist and Master in Biology Conservation, completed the PhD at the University of Évora on The influence of forest management actions on bird communities of Portuguese ‘montados’ and Pine tree plantations”. My main interests in Ornithology are the study of communities of riparian galleries and forest environments, birds as bioindicators, census field methods and scientific ringing. I am co-responsible of the Constant Effort ringing Station of the Herdade da Mitra. Additionally, I’m interested in riparian rehabilitation, science dissemination and scientific illustration.
