26 – 30 September 2017, University of Évora, Portugal

The University of Évora (LabOr, ICAAM), the Global Owl Project and the partners SPEA (BirdLife Portugal), STRI (ALDEIA) and the International Owl Center, are pleased to invite you to attend the fifth World Owl Conference, which will be held in the University of Évora, Portugal from September 26th through September 30th, 2017.

Warming-up workshop, four days of science and further evening socialising. If this does not sound like enough, embark on a post-conference tour to watch birds or to get a taste of the cultural heritage of Portugal.

The speakers, their families and friends are invited to come to Évora and discover a UNESCO World Heritage centre full of secret corners, with its monuments, traditional commerce and vivid cultural agenda, offering varied leisure options – from a morning visit to the city park to a night-time indulgence at one of the city bars, probably with some owl encounters on the way.
