Between 17 and 20 November the University of ELTE in Budapest held the kick-off meeting of the project “Innovative employability guidance for higher education students in the context of European biodiversity management”. The project is part of a strategic partnership for Higher Education and has ERASMUS + funding (KA2 – Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices). The partnership includes Hungarian (Barn Owl Foundation – Project leader – and Eötvös Loránd University, ELTE), English (Ambios and University of Exeter) and Portuguese entities (SPEA and the University of Évora). The project is focused on upgrading, improving and giving more relevance to the professional orientation process at the time of planning a career linked to conservation and biodiversity management. During the project students from the three countries will be selected to participate in joint mobility actions (presential and video conference) aimed at developing basic and soft skills. At the end, career guidance packages will be produced and made available online, allowing for greater adaptability in the approach to the job market.
