During the action Ciência Viva no Verão 2010 “Antenas no Ar: como seguir as corujas”, the film crew of Esposende TV joined the team of TytoTagus Project in order to make a short documentary about the Barn Owl. An agreeable evening at the heath in Companhia das Lezírias, where there are several nest boxes for this species, was followed by nocturnal observations of owls hunting at the Tagus Estuary floodplains.
