After the success of the 2008 Seminar “Owls in Culture, Science and Conservation”, the LabOr-Laboratory of Ornithology, is organizing another similar event on owl conservation entitled “Perspectives in Owl Conservation Work”.
After the success of the 2008 Seminar “Owls in Culture, Science and Conservation”, the LabOr-Laboratory of Ornithology, is organizing another similar event on owl conservation entitled “Perspectives in Owl Conservation Work”.
Our goal is to present and discuss on a practical basis results from several owl studies recently conducted in Europe and to highlight the importance of the work carried out by volunteers (which is particularly relevant in the European Year of Volunteering 2011).
The Seminar will take place at the University of Évora, College of the Espírito Santo, room 131, on December 7.
