The Digital Atlas of Breeding Birds of Herdade da Mitra [in Portuguese] is an important educational tool produced by the Project AviSkola. It was created with the support of a team from the Minerva Center – University of Évora, a unit with extensive experience in the field of ICTs applied to educational issues. In addition to the bird Atlas, the CD-ROM includes a guide to bird watching (with tips for species identification), descriptions of habitats and species associations, and several other issues, thus making a close interaction between suggested activities and some contents of scholar programs.
The Digital Atlas of Breeding Birds of Herdade da Mitra is distributed free of charge to participants in the AviSkola Project.
